Product Liability
If you have been injured by a defective product, you may have a claim for product liability.

One of the most important issues in these cases is whether the product is defective and did that defect exist at the time it left the manufacturer or seller. If you, or someone else, has modified the product to create the defect, then the manufacturer or seller may not be liable. Dog Bites
Dog bites can cause serious injuries, especially to children. In Florida, a dog owner is strictly liable for the actions of their dog, even if the dog has no history of violent behavior.

Many insurance companies are now refusing to insure against dog bites in their homeowners policy. The dog owner would still be liable, but there may, or may not, be insurance coverage to cover the damages.
